As part of the NIH Common Fund’s Complement Animal Research In Experimentation (Complement-ARIE) Program the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH) is issuing a submission request for well-developed New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) projects for initial assessment by the Complement-ARIE Validation and Qualification Network (VQN) as part of its design phase.
The FNIH submission request calls for well-developed NAMs models that are advanced enough to undergo a detailed evaluation to determine readiness for validation and qualification. The scientific community is encouraged to submit in vitro, in silico, in chemico, or combinatorial NAM research models by August 31st, 2025 8PM ET. Following this first cycle of review, rolling reviews will be completed every one to two months depending on volume of submission until December 31st, 2025.
