The Molecular Libraries and Imaging program has transitioned from Common Fund support. For more information please visit: https://commonfund.nih.gov/molecularlibraries/index. Please note that since the Molecular Libraries and Imaging program is no longer being supported by the Common Fund, the program website is being maintained as an archive and will not be updated on a regular basis.

The Probe Report Web Table summarized information on all probes released. Additional information on Molecular Libraries probes can be found in reference materials.

NIH Molecular Libraries

NIH Molecular Libraries Small Molecule Repository collected samples for high throughput biological screening and distributed them to the NIH Molecular Libraries Probe Production Centers Network. The repository is now managed by the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS).

The NIH Clinical Collection and NIH Clinical Collection 2 are plated arrays of 446 and 281, respectively, small molecules that have a history of use in human clinical trials. The collections were assembled through the Molecular Libraries and Imaging Initiative as part of its mission to enable the use of compound screens in biomedical research. These collections are available to researchers for use.
