GTEx Analysis Working Group Jamboree and Steering Committee Meeting Exit Disclaimer

This was the first GTEx meeting since sequence data from roughly half of the donors was available for analysis and provided an excellent opportunity for GTEx investigators to discuss optimal methods for analyzing the enormous amount of GTEx data that will be available by the end of 2016 when all the sequence is anticipated to be completed.​

The December 2010 meeting in Bethesda was the first opportunity for a working group of GTEx principal investigators and project officers to meet in-person, discuss and resolve start-up project logistics, such as finalizing regulatory documents, tissue collection protocols, kit configuration, as well as identify possible bottlenecks and a projected timeline among the group.
