Emerging Disease or Emerging Diagnosis?

Recent research from the Sabeti lab revealed the dynamics of how the Ebola virus has been transmitted from human to human in West Africa, and traces how the genetic code of the virus is changing over time to adapt to human hosts.

Congratulations to the winners of the NIH Common Fund 10-Year Commemoration Video Contest! Winning videos were selected by popular vote. The Common Fund is proud of the hard work and creativity of all the contest entrants. Although voting for the contest is over, we encourage you to continue to view and “Like” the videos to show all the contestants your support.
All winning videos will be exhibited during the June 19th, Common Fund 10th Anniversary Research Symposium and the video creators will receive certificates signed by NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins.

NIH Selected Winners
The NIH is extremely proud of the hard work and creativity of its grantees. To highlight some of that creativity, the following videos were chosen by NIH Director, Dr. Francis Collins, as “NIH Selected” videos. The winning NIH Selected Video will join the winners selected by popular vote in being exhibited during the June 19th, Common Fund 10th Anniversary Research Symposium. The creators of the NIH Selected Winner and Runners-up will receive certificates signed by Dr. Collins.
