Traditional and New Dietary Assessment Methods (TANDAM) for Personalized Nutrition at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa
The Traditional and New Dietary Assessment Methods (TANDAM) for Personalized Nutrition Center will conduct innovative dietary assessment on all Nutrition for Precision Health participants and develop innovative approaches to address dietary assessment challenges. The center will support the side-by-side application of at least one innovative approach to assess dietary intake in addition to the Automated Self-Administered 24-hour (ASA24) Dietary Assessment Tool to improve accuracy of these methodologies through validation, evaluation, and modeling efforts with data from free-living and controlled feeding studies.

Metabolomics and Clinical Assays Center at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
The Metabolomics and Clinical Assays Center (MCAC) will generate targeted and untargeted metabolite profiles and perform or facilitate clinical assays from blood, urine, and stool biospecimens. The MCAC will provide a robust data set to the Artificial Intelligence for Multimodal Data Modeling and Bioinformatics Center for use in development of algorithms to predict individual dietary responses.

The Center will support the development of robust and artificially intelligent informatics platforms of multimodal, metadata-complete, human data sets from the Nutrition for Precision Health consortium.

AI Data Engineering and ML (AIDE-ML) Center at the United States Military Academy West Point
The United States Military Academy (USMA) AI Data Engineering and ML (AIDE-ML) Center will implement computational and data science approaches and tools to advance nutrition for precision health in a way that accounts for the complex systems involved, in support of the NIH Nutrition for Precision Health, powered by the All of Us Research Program (NPH).
The USMA AIDE-ML will develop and utilize The Data Distiller for Precision Nutrition, a set of approaches and tools that can collapse and distill nutrition-relevant data to create datasets that are AI-ready and ready for a range of other analyses. Additionally, the funded Data Systems Core (DSC) of the USMA AIDE-ML will leverage the substantial computing resources of West Point and the Department of Defense to create a flexible cloud-based architecture for data flow and a collaborative workspace, while the Computational Systems Core (CSC) will provide resources and personnel to support the DSC and tool development/deployment. Some work will be done in collaboration with the Artificial Intelligence, Modeling, and Informatics, for Nutrition Guidance and Systems (AIMINGS) Center at the City University of New York (CUNY)—also an NPH Consortium awardee.
