| Q2. All 8 of these TFs are involved in early lineage decisions in the blastocyst and establishment of pluripotency. In many cases, commercial antibodies are available, but there is too much variation among lots and it is expensive to keep ordering and testing. Biotech companies don''t care if their reagents fail. Time for Iowa to take over!
Q3. Antibodies for phospho-proteins! These are rare (commercially) and underexplored (conceptually). These tools would open a whole new field of research.
Gata6 and Sox17 would also be nice, as they are also early lineage markers. |
