Nanomedicine Roadmap Initiative Information Meeting

Meeting Purpose
The NIH Roadmap Nanomedicine Initiative established a national
network of Nanomedicine Development Centers (NDC) to stimulate the
emerging field of Nanomedicine. The first four NDCs were awarded in
fiscal year 2005. This year, a second solicitation will be issued to add
NDCs to the network (RFA-RM-06-007).
This meeting served as a public forum to:
- provide additional information to potential applicants about the solicitation
- discuss the NIH vision for the network of NDCs
- describe the approaches and goals of the currently funded NDCs
