Tiffani Bailey Lash, Ph.D.
Dr. Lash earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from North Carolina State University. Her interdisciplinary research conducted in both the Chemistry and Chemical/Biomolecular Engineering Departments focused on modifying chemical and physical properties at the liquid/solid interface to address optimizing surface chemistry applications and DNA mobilization. Prior to her positions within the NIH, Dr. Lash was selected as a policy fellow with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and the National Academies. At the NIH, Dr. Lash worked in the Office of the Director at the National Institute of General Medical Sciences and has been with the Office of Strategic Coordination since December 2011. Dr. Lash is also engaged in scientific workforce policy initiatives for the NIH.
