Tanya Hoodbhoy, Ph.D.


Dr. Hoodbhoy received her Ph.D. in biology with an emphasis in cell, developmental, and reproductive biology from the University of California, Riverside. Her research emphasis was in mammalian fertilization and early development. She then joined NIH’s intramural program in 2000 as a postdoctoral fellow in the Laboratory of Cellular and Developmental Biology in the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases. After this, she moved to NIH’s Center for Scientific Review and managed the Development I study section in the Biology of Development and Aging Integrated Review Group. She has been in the Office of Strategic Coordination since 2007.
